Step #1: Account access
Stockrific is designed with security and mobility in mind. Because of this, the Login section will be email based and we do not allow the possibility of creating accounts outside of the Admin dashboard.
After the onboarding process, a username and password will be sent to the initial registered email. Based on these information, the admin will have the ability to create additional groups and users and levels of access, based on the chosen Stockrific plan and business needs.
The login action has to be performed for each inividual user from each individual station and the order fulfilment process can be performed from any location.
In order for the system to integrate with the store, we need the connection details. In the example given, we used a Magento store for the integration.
The initial import will establish the connection and bring the orders that need to be fulfilled, in the Stockrific system. The speed of the import depends on the website’s server processing power and can last up to 1h for 5000 ordes per day.
The Stockrific support team will assist you with any import or store related issues, based on the chosen Stockrific plan.
Once the import sequence is complete, an import notification message will appear, confirming the operation.
In the case of a failure, a coresponding message will appear and our support team will assist you.
Step #2: Template building
Each business has it’s own speciffics and in order to keep the platform clean and easy to use and also make it usefull for almost all types of shops, we are introducing the template feature.
The template section, that appears right after the fast access in the system, for an admin user, will allow for chosing from a range of predefined column headers or create new ones, for each process of the order fulfilment process.
Also, there are predefined templates, that our team created, based on the experience we had with each business we came across. These templates have preset columns for each individual station.
Step #3: Users management
Stockrific comes with a very powerful and easy to use user management feature, which allows for the following:
- User creation, for each individual station and/or part of the admin system.
- Groups creation, that allows multiple users to be part of a type of access.
- Permissions settings for each group and user.
The image on the right showcases the creation of a group of users and also of one individual user.
Once a group has been created it will appear on the page and options for editing or removing a defined group will be available.
Each group can be edited after it’s creation, and new users can be added or removed.
It is recommended that groups are split per type of action performed by he users in that group.
For example, users from the manual operations side will be added to groups speciffically named for those operations. Administrators or supervisors will be added to their speciffic groups, and so on.
Step #4: Printers
Every order fulfilment system needs to be able to track the items from station to station around the warehouse and also all the packages that are being prepared for delivery.
In order to be able to do that tracking, we built in a system that allows the client to add almost any printer type for any station in the process. And this system will allow for individual printer installation, testing and debugging.
- It allows for printer integration
- It allows for printer assigning to each station
- It allows for printer assigning per user
- It allows for printer naming per station
Adding a printer in a clean and easy way.
The Add Printer interface will read all the installed printers and will allow a user with the speciffic rights, to assign a printer to any group.
Order fulfilment processes in a warehouse need speciffic printers for each work station. For example, the station that receives the products, will need a label printer, label that will be used to track the products throughout the delivery process, so we will need a label printer that can print on plastic media.
The section presented in the image shows the status of the stations that are in the processing flow, in the WMS.
It allows for the asignation of printers to each of the stations, with just a few clicks.
Editing and removing printers is also possible.
- All active stations are visible.
- Each station can have one printer assigned
- Printers can be edited.
- Printers can be removed.
Support and documentation
Upon purchasing a plan, the documentation will be sent in a separate email in the form of a PDF. Also, based on your purchased plan, email or phone support will be available.
